>Product Introduction
The SKC’s sound intensity handle, which can collect the amplitude and direction information of sound energy in the sound field, is widely used in sound power measurement, sound absorption, sound transmission and noise source identification, sound source location and other fields. The sound intensity measurement method is to use two close microphones to measure the sound pressure and particle velocity simultaneously. In order to minimize the impact on the sound field, the acoustic distance between the two sound transmitters of the sound intensity probe needs to be defined precisely. To ensure the highest measurement accuracy, the most suitable distance between the microphones is defined for a particular test condition. The spacing should be large when testing low frequency bands under strong reverberation conditions, and small when testing high frequency bands.
The SQ21 sound intensity probe is a face to face sound intensity probe, including three specifications from 8mm to 50mm fixed isolators for microphone isolation. This design allows the user to change the microphone spacing without removing the probe.
